AIM: - By the end of this unit, pupils can use the words and phrases related to the topic Comparing places. - Pupils can ask and answer questions to compare places. - Pupils can develop listening and speaking skills. II. LANGUAGE CONTENT: III. TEACHING AIDS: Resources: student book (page 66), flash cards, posters, recordings. IV. PROCEDUERE: * Warm up: - Spend a few minutes revising the previous lesson. * New lesson: 1. Look, listen and repeat. - Point each character and elicit pupils’ answers: Who are they? Where are they? What are they doing? Get pupils to repeat the new word a few times. - Playing the recording all the way through for the class to listen. - Play it again for pupils to repeat line by line. 2. Point and say. - Point to each picture, read the phrases and ask the question Which one is more or ..? for pupils to answer. - Have pupils practice asking and answering in pairs. - Invite one or two pairs to speak to check. 3. Let’s talk. - Get pupils to work in pairs.
