- English 5 WEEK 32 Period 124th Tuesday, April 23rd 2024. (ST4: 5A) Thursday, April 25th 2024. (ST1: 5B) UNIT 19: WHICH PLACE WOULD YOU LIKE TO VISIT? Lesson 3: P1 (P.62) I. AIM: - By the end of this unit, pupils can use the words and phrases related to the topics Places to visit and Opinions on places. - Pupils can say questions and answers with the correct intonation. - Pupils can develop listening and speaking skills. II. LANGUAGE CONTENT: III. TEACHING AIDS: Resources: student book (page 62), flash cards, posters, recordings. IV. PROCEDUERE: * Warm up: - Spend a few minutes revising the previous lesson. * New lesson: 1. Listen and repeat. - Have ss look at the lesson in their books on page 62. - Tell pupils to pay attention to the intonation of the sentences. - Playing the recording all the way through for pupils to listen. - Play it again for them to repeat all the words and sentences twice. 2. Listen and mark the sentence intonation. Then say the sentences aloud. - Have ss look at the lesson in their books on page 62. - Ask pupils to read the sentences in silent. - Playing the recording all the way through for pupils to listen. - Play it again for them to do the task. - Get them to compare their answers and read the completed sentences aloud. 3. AIM: - By the end of this unit, pupils can use the words and phrases related to the topic Comparing places. - Pupils can ask and answer questions to compare places. - Pupils can develop listening and speaking skills. II. LANGUAGE CONTENT: III. TEACHING AIDS: Resources: student book (page 64), flash cards, posters, recordings. IV. PROCEDUERE: * Warm up: - Spend a few minutes revising the previous lesson. * New lesson: 1. Look, listen and repeat. - Point each character and elicit pupils’ answers: Who are they? Where are they? What are they talking about? Get pupils to repeat the new word a few times. - Playing the recording all the way through for the class to listen. - Play it again for pupils to repeat line by line. 2.
