  1. English 5 WEEK 31 Period 121st Wednesday, April 18th 2024. (ST4: 5A, ST5: 5B) UNIT 19: WHICH PLACE WOULD YOU LIKE TO VISIT? Lesson 1: P2 (P.59) I. AIM: - By the end of this unit, pupils can use the words and phrases related to the topics Places to visit and Opinions on places. - Pupils can ask and answer questions about which place someone would like to visit. - Pupils can develop listening and reading skills. II. LANGUAGE CONTENT: III. TEACHING AIDS: Resources: student book (page 59), flash cards, posters, recordings. IV. PROCEDUERE: * Warm up: - Spend a few minutes revising the previous lesson. * New lesson: 4. Listen and circle a, b or c. - Ask pupils to read the sentences and guess the correct answers. - Playing the recording all the way through for pupils to listen. - Play it again for them to do the task. - Get them to compare their answers. Key: 1b 2a 3a 5. Read and complete. - Give pupils a few seconds to read the conversation. - Set a time limit for pupils to do the task independently. - Get pupils to compare their answers in pair before checking as a class. What are they talking about? Get pupils to repeat the new word a few times. - Playing the recording all the way through for the class to listen. - Play it again for pupils to repeat line by line.

It’s more _______ than I expected. - Repeat the step with some other pairs for the rest pictures. - Have the whole class repeat all the phrases in chorus to reinforce their pronunciation. - Point to each picture and ask the question What do you think of _______? for pupils to answer. - Have ss practise acting out the dialogue in pairs, using the pictures in their books. Monitor the activity and offer help. Correct pronunciation error(s) when necessary. - Call on some perform the task at the front of the class. The rest of the class observe and give comments. 3.
